The AirAllé™ device provides a new way to kill head lice without using pesticides or other chemicals. Using controlled heated air, our device provides a safe, fast, and highly effective way to kill all stages of head lice, including lice eggs.

How It Works
This patented and clinically tested AirAllé™ device is intended for use to kill or remove lice and lice eggs in the hair of adults and children 4 years or older.

It delivers carefully controlled heated air directly to dry, untangled hair that is free of hair treatment products, at a temperature cooler than most hair dryers and at a much higher flow rate. The unique single-use applicator tip is designed to penetrate beyond the insulating layer of hair and is used to lift the hair slightly while directing airflow right onto lice and eggs which tend to be located near the scalp and hair roots.

A specific, timed treatment pattern is followed to ensure all areas of the head are treated. No pesticides or other chemicals are used in the therapy, just heated air.

Why It Works
The AirAllé™ device is highly effective because the small size and shape of head lice and their eggs make it difficult for them to conserve water. As such, when they are exposed to the right amount of heated air, at the right temperature, and for the right length of time, they dry out and die.

AirAllé™ Is Safe
Almost all prescription and over the counter medications sold today for treating head lice contain pesticides or other chemicals, many of which have the potential to cause irritating skin reactions or other harmful side effects. Unlike these products, the AirAllé™ device uses only controlled, heated air, so it is very safe, even when used to treat people with asthma and those who have previously experienced side effects from other head lice treatment products.

Get Treated with the AirAllé™ Device

AirAllé™ treatments are given using the FDA-cleared and CE-marked AirAllé™ device. This device delivers a large amount of controlled heated air through a unique, single-use applicator. The applicator is specifically designed to lift the hair slightly while directing the airflow right onto lice and eggs which tend to be located near the scalp and hair roots. A specific, timed treatment pattern is followed to ensure all areas of the head are treated with air whose temperature and flow rate are carefully controlled.

The AirAllé™ treatment is extremely effective because when lice and eggs are exposed to the right amount of heated air at the right temperature and for the right length of time, they dry out and die. AirAllé™ treatments are performed by a trained and certified operator.

Step 2
comb
Remove by Combing Out

The AirAllé™ device is very effective at killing or removing head lice and eggs. However, dead lice and dead eggs will remain in the hair after treatment. It is also possible that some lice or eggs may have been missed during the treatment.

So, for cosmetic reasons, and to help ensure that all lice and eggs are removed, we recommend that individuals either receive or perform a complete comb-out with a fine-tooth louse comb after the treatment.

CAUTION: Some live lice and/or eggs may remain in the hair after an AirAllé™ treatment. For cosmetic reasons and to help assure that all lice and eggs are removed from the hair and scalp after treatment, a complete comb-out with a louse comb is recommended.

Step 3
After Treatment Instructions

Please continue using the nit comb over the next 2 to 4 days throughout the entire head to remove remaining nits.

Itching after treatment is common and can last about a week (is there a product that we can suggest?)
It is recommended that periodic combing should be performed with a nit comb after treatment to guard against re-infestation. Check all family members for 10 days after treatment.

Head lice cannot survive off of a human hair for more than 48 hours, we recommend that you do not use pesticide sprays in your home, they will unnecessarily expose your household to harmful chemicals.
